Jul to Aug 2005: Travelled to Eastern Europe
Went to visit parents in Devon before travelling across Europe visiting Budapest, Prague, Croatia and Cologne.
Nov 2003: Paradise holiday in Queensland
Travelled to Port Douglas and Dunk Island where we had a holiday in paradise enjoying the tropical surroundings.
Dec 2002: Start work in Melbourne as Sales Manager
Working for an international hotel chain as sales manager in the state of VIC and SA.
May 2001: Move to Melbourne, Australia
Travelled to Indonesia for 2 weeks on holiday with my family before leaving them there to move to Australia to be reunited with Sally.
Feb 2001: Travelled to Egypt
Travelled to Egypt to visit the Pyramids in Cairo and then onto Luxor by train to the Valley of the Kings.
Oct 2000 to Apr 2001: Worked in Heathrow as Sales Exec
Worked in Heathrow for 5 months in sales. People I worked for were fantastic but the location was isolated and a bit boring.
March 2000: Sally and I hook up
Sally and I meet and start going out together. The courtship was not exactly the romantic type...
May 1999: Move to London to work
Move to London from hometown of Paignton to begin working at a large Hilton hotel.
Aug 1998: Completed Bsc Degree at Oxford Brookes Uni
Finally finished degree course and looking forward to next challenge.
1997-1998: Moved into rented house in Kingston Bagpuize, Oxford
For the final year of my degree course I moved into a house with my German girlfriend at the time. Being a small village on the outskirts of Oxford it was a long trek into the city to get to lectures and seminars.
1996 to 1997: Moved into shared house on Jeune St, Oxford
On returning from the USA I found another shared house to move into - sharing with 4 other guys.
Dec 1995: Sleeping Minnesota, USA
Spent 1 year in Grand Marais, Minnesota working for various hotels - had possibly the best time of my life and left with many great memories.
1994 to 1995: Moved into shared house on Princes St, Oxford
After spending a year living in a hall of residence, I moved into a shared house to live with 1 guy and 3 girls where I remained for the next year while attending University.
1993 to 1998: Degree at Oxford Brookes Univeristy
Begin Bsc Degree course in hotel management at Oxford Brookes University. Moved into Cheney Hall of residence based on campus for first year.
1989 to 1993: Living in Dubai
Mother meets step father while working in Dubai - end up living between Devon and Dubai until 1988 when they decide to move back to Paignton permanently.
1988 to 1993: Secondary Education at Kings Collage Taunton
Spent 5 years at boarding school where I achieved 10 GCSE's and 3 A Levels.
Jul 1990: Nick my half brother is born
Born in Newton Abbot my half brother Nick arrived at 6am on a warm July morning - went to see him for the first time at the hospital.
1983 to 1988: Move to Wolborough Hill School, Newton Abbot
After Montpellier school closed down in Paignton there were not many alternatives in the area. As a result I ended up going to Wolborough Hill in Newton Abbot - a town about 30 minutes away from home.
1982 to 1983: Primary Education at Montpellier School, Paignton
For 1 year I went to a local primary school in Paignton that was about 10 minute walk from my house before the school closes indefinately.
1982: Family returns indefinately to Paignton, UK
After Madagascar, my parents decided t move indefinately to Paignton in Devon. This was primarily for my education as it certainly wasn't for the weather!
1979 to 1982: Lived in Madagascar
Spent 4 years growing up in Madagascar. Went to an American school close by where I used to cause havoc by bringing in pet Camelions.
Jun 1978: Brother Larry is born in Brussels
During our short stay in Brussels my brother Larry was born...remember very little about the event or the place.
1977 to 1979: Live in Brussels, Belgium
Father moved to Brussels to work for 3 years and took the family with him. Remember little about the place except for vague memories of the apartment we lived in and the school I went to.
